Rang De - Knock out Poverty in India!
I came across this interesting page(http://www.rangde.org/investorHome.htm#mynotifications) on RangDe.Org and thought I would blog about it.
Rang De is an innovative approach to helping people who do no need charity. They need an opportunity to become self reliant and are looking for small loans to run their businesses. Listed on www.rangde.org are such low income entrepreneurs - mostly women from rural India who are looking for microloans.
You can invest as little as Rs.100 in their business and track the progress of your investment online. They call it social investing as your investments will bring about a social change.
