A simple test used by the Oracle of Omaha to make investment in any company is:
He wants to know if the stock market is closed for 10 years and you can not sell the stock for next ten years would you still be willing to own the stock. In other words are you confident that the company will not only be around after 10 years but it will be a more robust, profitable and competitive after 10 years than it is today. If the company passes this test then definitely it is investment worthy. As his favorite holding period is forever.
