Feng shui Calendar

I am sure all of you receive forwarded emails mentioning that if you do not forward this immediately something bad will happen to you and if you forward it to people good fortune will come to you. In most of the cases some god or goddess who is known for their wrath are being quoted and not forwarding the email is considered to be a sin so great that you could lose everything you care about.

So when I came across the email quoted below my first reaction was similar but on close examination I realized that the mail talks about a unique phenomenon happening in the month of July 2011, which apparently happens once in every 823 years!

So here is the email copied below:

“July 2011 Calendar
Don’t want to mess up my feng shui!
This year, July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. This happens once every 823 years. This is called money bags. So, forward this to your friends and money will arrive within 4 days. Based on Chinese Feng Shui the one who does not forward.....will be without money. Not taking any chance!

Since I am not a great fan of sending forwarded emails, I thought of posting it here on the blog. Now since the mail promises great amount of money within 4 days I thought why not let my readers also make some money!!!
Now technically since I am not forwarding the email I am still a little worried L L L
But hoping that a lot of people will read it on the blog and use it to forward I am sure FengShui gods will smile on me and all my readers. J J J

Let us talk after 4 days. Would love to know if the theory on 823 years is actually true?

Thanks for reading; let us hear what you guys have to say about the same.

  5. Guys and Gals, there had been so many variation of email posted above. And, yeah, there's an SMS version too. Personally, I think its a waste of sms credits/load.

  8. Dear Anonymous passion and obsession are not synonymous. Going by the number of subscribers it seems some people are pushing my blog, and they are not even asking for a Zinger.

It happens every month when there are 31 days
    2011:
    Oct - 5 Sun, Sat & mon
    Dec - 5 Thu,Fr, Sat
    etc
If you need sequence of FSS - next one is Dec 2012
and next July ,that starts on Fri is July 2016

I guess no hope for any money for me :-(

  12. I felt leary of this forwarded email, so I did some research. Go to this page wherein the premise is disproved http://www.h-i-r.net/2010/10/it-only-happens-once-every-823-years.html. I just knew it!

  13. Dear Anonymous, it does not happen every month that has 31 days, look at the full year calendar, sorry... but there may be some truth to this I'll post in 4 days. OPTIMISTIC :^)

  14. The combinatoins of day/month/weekday are completely repeating every 400 years. Up to June 2411, our year 2011 included, 58 years have the 1st of July on a Friday.
